Expert Technical Guidance

Charles ‘Chuck’ Muehlbauer serves as the MIA Technical Director. He directs all aspects of MIA’s natural stone technical opinion, guidance, and education services for association members and design and construction professionals. In addition to responding to technical questions, he writes technical articles for the monthly MIA newsletter, assists in developing curriculum for MIA-sponsored educational programming at regional and national seminars, and serves as a primary resource in creating and updating MIA reference materials. Non-members are required to pay a consulting fee for verbal questions and written technical responses. Other services are fee-based for members and non-members.
