STONEXPO CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS--DEADLINE EXTENDED!

The deadline to submit presentations for the StonExpo 2006 Conference Program has been extended to Friday, January 27, 2006.

Hanley Wood in conjunction with the Marble Institute of America and the StonExpo Education Committee are looking to continue the tradition of delivering quality education to the stone industry. This complete program will combine everything from general business topics to design, marketing, installation and technology to ensure the best courses will be offered at StonExpo 2006.

Proposals are now being accepted for the StonExpo educational conference program November 8-11, 2006 in Las Vegas, NV. The extended deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, January 27, 2006. Proposals will be reviewed by an education committee and final selections will be made by May 2006.

Program Guidelines

Interested presenters can submit written proposals within the following program guidelines: Your presentation should indicate education track, course level, target audience and your presentation experience. Course format will be either 3-hour pre-conference workshop or 75-minute seminar presentation. Educational tracks include:

Business Management
Design/Market Trends
Fabrication/Installation
Sales/Marketing
Technology/Machinery/Tools
Care/Maintenance/Restoration

Note: Handouts are required for all sessions

Evaluation Process and Notification

The StonExpo education committee will review all accepted proposals. Proposals submitted will be evaluated according to specific criteria. The review criteria include:

Quality and originality of proposal focus
Timeliness of topic
Practical applications of materials or ideas
Relevance of content to the natural stone industry
Professional experience of presenter(s)

Note: Proposals designed to promote product or services will not be reviewed

Why Should You Present?

Presenters will have the advantage of being highly visible in the industry and will demonstrate a leadership role by imparting valuable information to peers. Highlight of the speaker's name and company name in all StonExpo conference program and promotional materials. Each presenter will be provided complete access to all StonExpo conference programs.
