MIA Takes The Show On The Road With Five-City Seminar Schedule
January 2005 Cleveland, OH -- The Marble Institute of America (MIA) will hold road show seminars in five cities in 2005, beginning with the year's first in Phoenix, February 17-18.
MIA decided to more than double the number of events in the current year after surveying the results of two popular seminars in Raleigh and Nashville in 2004.
"The feedback was very positive from both the content and value-received perspectives," said Jim Hieb, director of special projects for MIA, which has more than 1200 members throughout the world.
The five seminars in 2005 will focus on helping attendees to grab a greater share of the residential market for natural stone. It's designed for fabricators, installers and sales professionals.
In addition to Phoenix, the seminars and dates are: Austin, TX, April 7-8; Boston, July 14-15; St. Cloud, MN, August 11-12, and Seattle, Sept.15-16.
Attendees can sign up for either one or two days, Hieb said.
Price for MIA members for the two-day event is $299 for the first person and $199 for each additional seminar attendee. One-day attendees pay $199 for the first person and $149 for additional attendees. Non-members are also invited to attend at a premium rate.
In addition to the seminars, the registration fee includes five MIA technical modules, a $25 discount coupon for additional training materials, morning coffee, lunch and a networking reception.
A $50 early registration discount is available on a one discount per company basis.
Hieb advises attendees to register early, because MIA expects sell-outs at all five venues.
