MIA CALL FOR ENTRIES IN
PRESTIGEOUS PINNACLE AWARDS

CLEVELAND, OH, May 22, 2007— The Marble Institute of America (MIA) has issued a call for entries for the 2007 Pinnacle Award competition, which will recognize the best natural stone projects in the world.

The Pinnacle Awards which judge entries in four categories – commercial interior, commercial exterior, residential interior and exterior and renovation/restoration, are recognized as the natural stone industry’s premier design and installation competition.

Entries are due at the MIA headquarters by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2007. Judging will take place in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30 by a panel of architects and natural stone industry experts.

The Pinnacle Awards are open to all MIA member companies. Project teams must include at least one MIA member company. Projects submitted must comply with MIA standards as defined in MIA’s Dimension Stone Design Manual and MIA Technical Modules.
