Marble Institute Announces
2006 Regional Seminar Schedule

Cleveland, OH., December 6, 2005 A broad educational program featuring twenty-two (22) extensive one- and two-day seminars across the United States will be presented by the Marble Institute of America (MIA), the world leader in providing training programs for the natural stone industry.

Initiated in 2005, MIA's varied training programs (branded "MIA Education on Location") drew hundreds of MIA members and non-members.

"The success of our programs this year has been so overwhelming that it was an easy decision to add more subjects and additional destinations for the coming year," said Gary Distelhorst, executive vice president of MIA. One major new sessions will be an executive management retreat to be held in Raleigh, NC (date to be determined). The 2006 schedule will also include more demonstrations and hands-on opportunities to compliment the outstanding classroom instruction. The 2006 schedule gets underway in Orlando, FL on January 9-10 with a two-day program entitled "Increase Your Share of the Residential Countertop Market for Natural Stone." This seminar is taking place just prior to the International Home Builders Show offering attendees two great venues. The Orlando seminar and four other residential countertop seminars are being jointly marketed by MIA and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).
