Apply for the Empowerment Scholarship
The Women in Stone Empowerment Scholarship includes an all-expenses paid trip to one of the following 2017 industry events: TISE, Coverings, or MIA+BSI Study Tour. The winner will be given the opportunity to gain valuable technical and practical knowledge to deepen her commitment to a career in the stone industry and explore her potential for leadership. The winner will also be given a chance to shadow industry professionals within different sectors of the stone industry, including quarriers, distributors, fabricators, installers, and equipment suppliers.
Nominate a Colleague for the Pioneer Award
The Pioneer Award will recognize an advocate within the stone industry for their role in recruiting, retaining and advancing women. The nominee’s performance in promoting women is exemplary, honorable, and inspirational.

The 2016 Mentorship Program is already underway. Be sure to join our email list so you are informed when registration opens up for the 2017 round, which is estimated to begin in March 2017. This program will pair industry veterans and newcomers, and will guide them through conversation topics to help them get to know each other and their respective career goals.
